December Super Kid: Celia | Nashville Special Needs Giving Back Program
Celia is December’s super kid and just wait til you see her smiling face! She’s a 5 yr. old super star, who loves Frozen, dancing, music, and spreads joy everywhere she rolls! Celia came to the studio for her Super Kid session and was featured with Corey Fager, and even hung out with me during my interview for this awesome video with Nashville Homes ETC, a local realtor team here in Middle Tennessee:
I was so honored to be featured as a community member doing good things here in Nashville! I love being able to give back to the Special Needs community with my free session opportunity each month. Speaking of, let’s get back to Celia!
Celia’s mom shared with me a little about Celia. She shared that Celia has Polymicrogyria, a rare brain disorder, Spastic Quadriplegia CP and Epilepsy. She is nonverbal and uses a power chair for mobility. Despite all she faces, she is a very happy and bright little girl.
She is usually happy. She loves friendly people and anyone who will play with her. She is very social. She loves princesses, flowers and animals.
Celia loved hiding in the curtains and chasing me around the room!
Her favorite movie currently is Frozen, and she knows all the words! Here she is lip-syncing to her favorite song from the movie.

I love getting to meet families like Celia and her mom, and hope that providing this fun morning with beautiful images of their awesome kid makes there day a little brighter. We share stories as special needs moms, and I hope they realize they are not alone!
