welcome to the studio | brentwood franklin child indoor studio photographer

The khp studio is open for business!  If you’ve been following me on Facebook you may have seen me post a little about my exciting September news!  I am one of several photographers that are participating in a consortium of sorts…we have opened CLICK studio in downtown Franklin.  CLICK studio is located at 415 Bridge Street in Franklin.  I will be using the studio for warm and cozy studio sessions for newborns and little ones, mini sessions such as Valentine’s Day promos, etc., corporate headshots, and image premieres and ordering appointments.  It is a great space (we’re working hard to get it ready…we don’t even have a sign yet!) and I’m excited about the opportunities that khp will have there.  I’m even going to offer my Photography workshop there in late January!!!  For details about that, email me!  For directions you can check out the studio’s website here.  Can’t wait to see you there!!!

In preparation for upcoming sessions at the studio, I asked a few friends, both old and new, to stop by this week so I could get a feel for the studio space.  What an awesome group of kids and moms that came to help out!!!  Here are a few of the beautiful images I was able to capture there.  The light was great and our newest addition, an old farm door from a local antique store, is the perfect backdrop in both texture and color!!  I LOVE it!

The door backdrop is perfect for gorgeous little girls like Annaclaire and Stella…

and equally perfect for handsome little fellows like Ben and Taylor!

Rich wood floors!!  A studio dream!

Simple walls are perfect for when you want your subject to stand out like Mr. Model (aka Hudson, age 4!)

and make for perfect black & white lifestyle shots like this one with Julianna.

Loved setting up the new ‘studio’ bed…perfect for Anna Cate & Braylon to show how sweet they are on each other…

though not EVERYONE was a fan.  Poor Taylor, he was having a tumbly kind of day!

Anna Cate rocking out her mom’s new tutu collection (these are for sale. Contact me if you are interested!)

and the gorgeous window light…perfect for Mommas and their babies!

What’s not to love, right?  Exactly! Thanks everyone, for coming out!!  It was lots of fun.  I think you’ll be seeing lots of year round work here at the studio.  And there are a few more images on Facebook too.  If you are interested in a studio session, contact me through the tab above or email me at info@karenhalbertphotography.com.

parting shot (of the most adorable cuteness!):
