I recently had a session with the Mason family who are starting a new chapter in their lives. They are moving to Texas. They’ll be donning their boots and hanging the sign on the door “Gone To Texas” (you can see that sign later on in this post) as they journey toward greener pastures. They will be missed by many and will miss much here as well. As we discussed where to have our session, capturing Nashville’s landmarks, they expressed their fondness and family history within the campus of Vanderbilt University. Mom graduated and works there, Grandpa graduated from there many years ago and, perhaps most importantly, this family has a LOVE for Vandy basketball! It might surprise you but Mom and oldest daughter are the big bball fans in this household and are season ticketholders! So it was only fitting that we take a few images on the court! How awesome is that!?
These girls are gorgeous and sweet too. The entire session was smooth as glass with lots of laughter and great smiles from everyone!
After the official family shots were taken, everyone showed their new Texas love in orange! Notice the expressions? The girls are not happy about this move!
We took a few headshots of dad for his new employer so he can escape the ‘new guy sitting at his desk looking like a deer in headlights’ image in the company newsletter. Great idea!
Lastly, it was Mom and Dad’s big anniversary this month. Happy Anniversary, Mom and Dad! Hope you enjoy this little collage of the two of you. I love how much you two still enjoy each other. It’s inspiring and, hopefully, contagious to everyone who sees you!
