This summer I had the wonderful opportunity to travel to Massachusetts for business AND pleasure (emphasis on pleasure!) There is something almost magical about summer nights in New England. The humidity dies down, the temperatures drop and the kids can play outside until dark (at 9 pm!) Maybe it takes me back to my childhood summers in New York, maybe it is simply the contrast of our oppressive heat and relentless humidity that rarely gives way even after the sun goes down. I don’t know. But I love summer in New England. And I love these folks a bunch, too!
It was my absolute privilege to photograph this wonderful family. Our boys have grown up together, though miles apart, and this was the first time I was able to take my talent to them as a family, to capture them just as they are right now, with boys 9, 8 and 3. May I introduce you to my friends, the C family.
